Construction of a new 10-story/200,000 SF Hospital Tower
To meet the region’s growing demand for healthcare services, WVU Hospitals embarked on a mission to build a new 10-story/200,000 SF hospital tower to meet the needs of its patients. The facility has created space for 114 new licensed beds bringing WVU Hospital total license to 645. The new, larger facility has significantly expanded their trauma center, emergency department, and added 15 new neo-natal intensive care unit beds.
