The project consisted of a new 330,000 SF, eight-story free-standing hospital with two pedestrian bridges connecting to the adjacent Ruby Memorial Southeast Tower. The hospital stands along the Ruby Memorial Campus’ Miracle Mile and delivers highly specialized care for children in West Virginia and beyond. Mosites has been working on the Ruby Memorial campus for over eleven years, consistently bidding and procuring work including construction management, general contractor, and specialized trade packages. As the site, concrete, and general trades contractor for the hospital, Mosites managed the site development, including excavation, shoring and infrastructure enabling, utility relocation, landscaping, pedestrian paving, site lighting, and the reconfiguration of entries into existing adjacent parking lots. Mosites’ self-perform work included bulk excavation, foundations, concrete slab-on-grade, and site hardscapes.
