This  urban  retail  development  project  at  the  corner  of  South  Highland  Street  and  Center  Avenue  serves  both  Shadyside  and  East  Liberty  neighborhoods.    Mosites  Construction  Company  was  selected  to  guarantee  a  maximum  price  and  build  this  city  development  project  on  time.    Strict  adherence  to  the  project  schedule  was  required  due  to  voluminous  tenant  lease  damage  clauses  and  each  requirement  was  met.  The  project  consisted  of  four  new  Class  A  3-story  retail  buildings,  two new  2-story  parking  garages  totaling  95,000  SF  and  significant  site  amenities.    Both  parking  garages  had  to  be  built  with  a  structurally  reinforced  steel  frame  and  post-tensioned  concrete.  Eastside  Retail  Development  has  played  a  significant  role  in  the  revitalization  of  East  Liberty.  National  anchor  tenants  such  as  Walgreens,  Starbucks,  FedEx,  Petsmart  and  Whole  Foods  help provide  a  stable  retail  market  and  platform  for  new,  larger  developments.
