Mosites completed the interior fit-out of the 8th Floor of the Southeast Tower, transforming a shell floor into a fully functional clinical space designed to enhance patient care and staff efficiency. Delivered in partnership with IKM Architecture, the project involved building out patient rooms, nurse stations, offices, support areas, and specialized clinical spaces, all tailored to WVUH’s operational needs and long-term expansion plans. The work required extensive coordination within an active hospital environment, including strict adherence to WVUH’s infection control protocols, noise mitigation requirements, and safety procedures. Mosites managed complex MEP integrations, medical gas distribution, and tie-ins to existing systems while maintaining uninterrupted hospital operations on adjacent floors. Our team collaborated closely with WVUM leadership, IKM, and clinical stakeholders to ensure the floor’s layout, materials, and systems supported patient well-being, efficient workflows, and future adaptability. Through proactive planning, detailed phasing, and clear communication, the project was completed on schedule and delivered with the quality, precision, and responsiveness required in a major healthcare setting.
